1. JIIT: The Engineering Heavyweight of Sector 62

Here’s a detail most applicants don’t know: JSSATEN is run by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, an education trust from Mysuru in Karnataka. It opened its Noida campus at C-20/1, Sector 62 in 1998, well before the IT parks around it went up.
It’s a large, established engineering college. It has more than 4,000 students and over 250 faculty members, with an undergraduate intake of 1,050 seats in 2024–25. It’s approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and its undergraduate programmes are NBA-accredited.
Admission to B.Tech goes through JEE Main scores and UP’s UPTAC counselling. As an AKTU-affiliated college, its fees are generally lower than a private deemed university like JIIT, which makes it a strong value option for UP-based students.
3. Symbiosis Law School, Noida: Pune’s Law Brand in NCR
Symbiosis Law School opened its Noida campus in 2010 as a constituent unit of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. It’s recognised by the Bar Council of India and offers five-year BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes, along with an LLM.
Older directory listings still describe its address as “opposite Nokia Siemens building,” which shows how much the neighbourhood has changed since 2010.
Getting in takes two steps. First comes the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT), followed by a personal interview and written ability test for shortlisted candidates. Careers360 lists about 1,247 students and 94 faculty, with annual BA LLB and BBA LLB fees of around ₹4.41 lakh. Confirm current fees with the institute before applying.
4. IIM Lucknow, Noida Campus: The First IIM Satellite
In 2005, IIM Lucknow became the first IIM to open a second campus, choosing a 20-acre site in Sector 62. It was set up mainly for executive education, and that focus remains.
Its main programmes are:
- IPMX: a one-year, full-time residential MBA for executives with at least five years of work experience. The 20th batch starts in April 2027.
- PGPWE: a two-year programme for working professionals, previously called the Working Managers’ Programme.
